<h3> Introducing Metropolitan Flight </h3>
Metropolitan Flight offers flight training in the Washington, DC, area and beyond using well-equipped, contemporary aircraft. We offer a <a href="c172.htm">Cessna 172 </a>and a <a href="c172rg.htm">Cessna 172RG</a>, as well as Piper PA-28s through the <a href= "http://www.erols.com/jgwalter/ofc"> Octopus Flying Club </a>. There is a special emphasis upon IFR and VFR operations in high density airspace. Instruction is $25/hour.
<p>This site offers several features of interest to the aviation community. The <a href="http://www.awc-kc.noaa.gov/awc/Neural_Net_Icing.html">Ice Forecast</a> is not a stand-alone flight planning tool (read the disclaimer), but we have had good results with it during flights this winter. <a href="faa-atta.htm">FAA Standards</a> are the latest FAA Practical Test Standards in Adobe Acrobat format. Heavy use of the government's FedWorld server has made it almost impossible to download this material, so we are offering it free as a service to students, pilots, FAA Inspectors, and Designated Examiners.
